Terms of Use

1) Eligibility (18+) & Account Requirements

The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher) to create an account or use the Service.

You agree to provide accurate and current information, maintain the security of your credentials, and promptly update your account information if it changes. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may request verification information (for example, email or phone verification) and may suspend or terminate accounts that appear underage, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms.

2) Safety Notice (No Background Checks)

MeetAsian does not conduct criminal background checks or identity verification on all users and does not guarantee user identity, intentions, or conduct.

Use caution when communicating with others online and when meeting in person. Never share passwords, verification codes, financial account details, or sensitive personal information with someone you meet through the Service.

• Meet in public places and tell a friend where you’re going.
• Do not send money, gift cards, crypto, or “emergency” payments.
• Report suspicious behavior using in-app tools or email us at safety@meetasian.com.

3) Paid Features & Subscriptions (If Any)

Some features may be free, and others may require payment (“Paid Features”). If you purchase Paid Features, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes.

Subscriptions: If you offer subscriptions, they may auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refund policies (if any) should be stated clearly in the purchase flow and/or a billing page.

If you’re not offering paid features yet, you can leave this section in—just keep it accurate (or I can tailor it to your exact billing setup).

4) User Content, Messaging & License

“User Content” includes profile information, photos, messages, comments, and other content you submit. You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant MeetAsian a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, use, reproduce, modify (for formatting and safety), display, and distribute your User Content as necessary to operate, improve, and secure the Service, including content moderation and backups.

You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to post your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

Messages: You are responsible for your communications. We may monitor, review, or remove content where permitted by law and as described in our Privacy Policy.

5) Prohibited Conduct (Dating-Specific Rules)

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or encourage hate or violence.
• Impersonate anyone, misrepresent yourself, or create fake/scam profiles.
• Solicit money, gifts, financial info, or run romance scams.
• Share non-consensual intimate content, sexual exploitation, or trafficking-related content.
• Post or solicit illegal services, escorting, or explicit commercial sex.
• Share private information about others (doxxing) without consent.
• Send spam, mass messages, or commercial advertising without written permission.
• Use bots, scraping, reverse engineering, hacking, malware, or interfere with the Service.
• Upload content containing nudity or explicit content where not allowed by your product rules.
• Attempt to move users off-platform for fraud, extortion, or coercion.

If you violate these rules, we may remove content and/or suspend or terminate your account.

6) Moderation, Reporting & Enforcement

We may investigate and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, restricting features, limiting visibility, suspending accounts, or terminating accounts, to protect users and the integrity of the Service.

Reporting: If you believe a user is engaging in harmful behavior or violating these Terms, report via in-app tools (if available) or email support@meetasian.com (or safety: safety@meetasian.com).

Tip: adding an in-app “Report” + “Block” button is both good product and good legal hygiene.

7) Privacy & Data

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights and choices. By using the Service, you consent to data practices described there.

You understand that some information you choose to share (e.g., profile details) may be visible to other users, based on your settings and how you use the Service.

8) Intellectual Property

The Service (excluding User Content) is owned by MeetAsian and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the Service except as permitted by law.

9) Copyright / DMCA

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please email dmca@meetasian.com with: (a) your contact info, (b) identification of the copyrighted work, (c) where the allegedly infringing content appears, (d) a good-faith statement, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act.

10) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetAsian disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, or outcomes.

MeetAsian is not responsible for user behavior, user communications, or offline interactions. Use the Service at your own risk.

11) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetAsian will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MeetAsian’s total liability for all claims will not exceed the greater of: (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

12) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MeetAsian and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

13) Termination & Account Deletion

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms or if your use creates risk for users or the Service.

We may retain certain information as required by law, for legitimate business purposes, and as described in our Privacy Policy (e.g., fraud prevention, dispute resolution, safety, and compliance).

14) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [State/Country], without regard to conflict of law principles.
